Deborah Glottmann
BS, CVT President
Deb Glottmann has been a veterinary technician since 1983. She started her career in equine medicine and continued on to small animal medicine after completing her Animal Science degree. She also worked in veterinary pharmaceuticals for 5 years and enjoyed the intense pharmacology education she received. Deb moved to Vermont in 2000 and knew this had always been her final destination.

Deb has managed multiple veterinary hospitals and owned a veterinary hospital with the Mitzvah Funds’ veterinarian Connie Riggs. After closing that busy practice they both still felt the need to help people and pets that would otherwise not be able to get veterinary care. The Mitzvah Fund was started while she was in practice with Connie and being able to put much more time into it was her main goal for many years.

Deb enjoys the human animal bond. Her passion is helping senior citizens with their animals needs. The Mitzvah Fund came from the deep need to help and there is no better way than to perform a mitzvah!

Deb lives in East Montpelier, VT with 3 special-needs Cavaliers and 2 special kitties. One thinks he is a Cavalier! Its a secret how many chickens she has. When not helping animals Deb enjoys her old 1957 Dodge pick up, gardening, pilates and spending time with great friends!
