Tom Strolle, DVM Veterinarian
Dr. Tom Strolle is a Hoosier by birth, a Vermonter by choice and a recovering Californian. He and his wife, Kate, grew up in Addison county, Vermont, where they attended the prom together, but then went their separate ways. Eventually they reunited in San Francisco where Tom was practicing after having graduated from the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Eventually, Vermont called them home to be closer to their extended family in New England. They are now 'empty nesters' in Jeffersonville with two cats, a chihuahua, a box turtle and several colonies of isopods. The notch is their favorite spot for skiing and hiking. Dr. Tom plays multiple musical instruments and mostly plays with friends, but has been known to join a band to do a gig or two. If you attend any local flea market or estate sale, there’s a good chance you will see him hunting for treasures and rare old things.
Dr. Tom is passionate about surgery and performs a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. He embraces the ongoing evolution of veterinary medicine and is excited to bring his expertise to a nonprofit, community-focused practice. Above all, he is deeply honored to serve clients supported by the Mitzvah Fund, ensuring that every pet, regardless of their owner’s circumstance, receives compassionate, high-quality care.
